Child Like Joy

As I look at my children, just children in general. I say to myself I sure would love to have their joy! How do we get back that feeling that we had when we were kids. That stress free, worry free feeling? How do we get back that frame of mind? Some might laugh and say that could never happen. But what if I tell you that you can find that same joy same worry free feeling with Our Heavenly Father.  Besides we are his children. And what do kids do when they are feeling down and worried. Run to their parents right? So why not run to God to find our joy our peace? God want us to depend on him for all of our needs. Sometimes I sit and I wonder, God what is my purpose in life? I feel incomplete. "(Can you help me figure out my future)" God I need you to enlarge my territory. "(Help me with all of my needs)" Lord please take anyone out of my life that dont mean me any good. "(I have a bully)" You see as we get older we just word our concerns a little differently than when we were kids. Children rarely worry because they have FAITH that their parents will help them out. So why do we doubt Our Father? Dont he love us just as much, even more than we love our kids? Dont we want to see our kids happy, successful, living abundantly?? Glory to God! When our kids come to us for those new pair of shoes, jeans etc. And we tell them wait I dont have the money right now ( We are usually waiting to get paid) or we say no (We know whats best for them, we know what they need) God is the same way. We get impatient when we ask God for something and we dont get it right away. What if God is working on it? What if God is saying No he has something better for us? Learn to always depend on God to supply all of your needs! Trust him like our kids trust us. And I guarantee it will bring you more joy and peace. We have the best Father anyone could ever have and he is Never late and always on time. Just look up to him. He loves you and he wants the best for you. But also remember what we do with our children when they are disobedient. :) But be encouraged God is working on it!
