How many times do these words come out of our mouths: I will do them like they do me? Okay we all said it right?! But what does that do for us? The bible says don't be fooled God will not be mocked what a man reap he shall sow. So why not let God deal with it. Instead we play their games and not realizing WE shall reap what we sow as well. And all we are doing is adding on to the cycle. The cycle of hurt, mistrust, abuse, strife and the list goes on. What we should do is pray for the ones that spitefully use and mistreats us. When you do it that way God will bless you, and you will break cycles of hurt, abuse, adultery, trust etc. I know at first hand we don't think anything through when we are hurt. That's why we must pray without ceasing, not just when things arise. That way when struggles come you will be equipped and ready. God sees all and he knows when someone mistreats you. Give it all to God. Jesus will never let you down. If you say you trust in him, then trust that he has your back. When you handle certain situations on your own without God, you are saying I do not trust you I can handle it better. So just remember to be mindful that every man shall reap what they sow whether good or bad.
Proverbs 20:22
Do not say, "I'll pay you back for this wrong!" Wait for the LORD, and he will avenge you.
Matthew 5:44
But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which spitefully use you, and persecute you
