Manifest your Power

Let heaven come to earth. Everyday as I walk up the stairs at work, I tell God "arise and demonstrate your power and manifest your glory." I had a patient who was rather upset about a situation that had occurred earlier that day. I talked with her and offered her assurance that everything will be alright. Later that night, she could not sleep because she was worrying about her problems which began to manifest physically through anxiety. I felt an urge to pray with her. I asked her, "ma'am can I pray with you?" She immediately began to cry. As we prayed, we both could feel the presence of God. After we prayed, she said "I needed that. Thank you so much. I now have peace." That night she slept all night long. She didn't need any sleep aid or anti-anxiety meds all she needed was the Prince of Peace. God is good. "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." (Isaiah 26:3)

God is so good. I praise God for using my sister to manifest his works! We never know what the next person is going through. It is always good to pray for those that are distressed and feeling down and out. Let the power of the Lord be manifested through you daily. For the glory belongs to him.

Prayer: Lord I pray that you would continue to use your people for your glory. Manifest your power and your glory through us. Equip our minds and our hearts to do your will. There are alot of people that are suffering. Give us the discernment to know when someone is hurting and needs prayer so that your glory will be made known through us. Arise Oh Lord in us! Amen.
